Training ICT

I have a passion for ICT and the added value it gives to teaching and LEARNING. I have experience of linking with schools across Europe using eTwinning and Comenius Programmes. My school has links with schools in Spain, Norway, Italy, Germany, France and Lithuania. We were awarded the eTwinning Quality Mark and runners up in the UK National eTwinning Awards in 2007.

We have along history of successful use of video conferencing with museums, educational institutions and schools at home and abroad.
We have been awarded a range of local and national awards for our innovative work in ICT.   We are now investigating the use of handheld technologies and their impact on teaching and learning.  (PDA’s, mobile phones and now the Asus).  We have just been accepted on the Specialist Schools ICT Register to share our good practice.
