Have a look at the article. Here Well worth the read. It is about the European Commission eTwinning initiative which is targetted at getting schools across Europe linking together for activities using ICT ! Our school is mentioned as we were runners up in the competition awarded at the etwinning Conference in Nottingham 2007. Our entry was based on our eTwinning link with a school in Norway using video conferencing technology. A free tool called Flashmeeting using webcam conferencing desighned by the Open University in the UK and hosted by my regional broadband network (E2bn) and set up for Free school use
I now have a role as an eTwinning Ambassador for the British Council to promote eTwinning and Comenius Projects in schools. I also coordinate the use of this flashmeeting tool for schools across Europe. If you are interested in knowing more about this tool or the projects mentioned above get in touch. I can provide support or INSET for schools, groups and teacher conference workshops.

Hi John,
I am tentatively planning an ICT conference for schools here in the North West. It’ll be all about blogging and other new technology. Would you be interested in coming to talk about Flashmeeting and showcase how schools might use it?
