Yes I can say that its been great fun investigating the potential of blogging. My anxiety is how to keep a blog interesting. I’ve followed Ewan Mcintosh’s blog but NO WAY could I aspire to that !!! My interest is how I can inspire kids in my school to Blog. They hate writing but seem to love texting and msn each other. The CHALLENGE ! Can we use these skills to inspire them to blog to the WWW ??? I’m in a special school for kids who find traditional methods of writing difficult and BORING !!! What does Blogging OFFER ? I will keep you informed !!!! I am new to this so any sugesstions greatly appreciated!!!

I’ve always seen the blog as just the conduit for more interesting stuff than just text. I’ve started taking more care over images because that’s something I’m quite passionate about, and want to learn more about. For your students it might end up being more about moving image, photography, audio (podcasting)…
The one tihng about a blog is that it takes time to ‘find your voice’: what you want to talk about, how you want to talk about it. Once you’ve got those two sorted out – and it’s best to do this over time with feedback from readers and colleagues (and students) – you’ll have great fun with it
